AONIC 2 – “A” feeling of freedom
3-liner | 51 cells | Aspect ratio: 5.2 | Weight: from 3.75 kg (size XXS) | (EN/LTF A)
We love the AONIC 2!
The high-end EN A paraglider AONIC 2 impresses with sportiness and performance, which is not usually found with EN A gliders – and is nevertheless suitable for instruction due to its high level of safety.

Technically more sophisticated. Noticeably simpler.
The AONIC 2 (EN/LTF A) is the most technically advanced High-A glider in its class – setting new standards.
With 51 cells, a refined line setup, optimized curvature, and high-end-materials, it unites what was previously seen as opposites:
Maximum safety, genuine thermal performance, and a flying experience that is both precise and relaxed.

Safety + performance = AONIC 2.
The AONIC 2 proves that safety does not mean compromise.
It is safe enough for training, yet so well-balanced and powerful that it continues to deliver joy long after school – in thermal flying, relaxed XC outings, or simply enjoying the air.
AONIC 2 in one sentence:
“The AONIC 2 defines how far the EN-A class can be taken: a paraglider that uncompromisingly combines safety, performance, and pure flying fun.”
What’s new?

51 cells – stability & precision
- High-class profile fidelity in the A-class.
- Exact handling, clearer feedback, more efficient glide and climb.
Mini Ribs – efficiency in thermals
- Double the number of cells at the trailing edge.
- More precise brake feedback.
- A smoother, more aerodynamic canopy.

- Less drag, less complexity on the ground.
- More performance – especially in accelerated flight.
New brake geometry
- More attachment points for a more even brake distribution.
- Smooth landings thanks to excellent flare characteristics.
Improved pitch and collapse stability
- Remains calm in active air, even if things get turbulent.
- Less stress, more enjoyment.
Target group

The AONIC 2 is not a “classictraining glider” – it is the wing that nurtures real enthusiasm for our sport.
This is what the AONIC 2 is for:
- For students after their first solo flights – when the first own wing should offer more than just “forgiveness.”
- For AONIC 1 fans who want to keep the familiar feeling, but gain more precision, performance, and thermal efficiency.
- For pleasure and thermal seekers who consciously combine safety AND fun.
- For returnees who want to fly reliably and confidently again after a break.
In short:
The AONIC 2 is the wing for everyone who doesn’t want to underchallenge themselves – but also doesn’t want to be overchallenged.
Materials

For the AONIC 2, every fabric and every line was chosen to ensure that durability, weight, and performance work together optimally:
- Nose upper surface: Porcher Skytex 38 – extremely robust, high tear resistance, excellent porosity values even after years of use.
- Upper & lower surface: Skytex 27 Classic 2 – double-coated, UV-resistant and durable. No slippery silicone coating. The most precious lightweight fabric on the market.
- Internal structure: Skytex 32 Hard Finish – minimal stretch, maximum profile fidelity, even after many flight hours.
- Lines: Combination of long-lasting sheathed main lines and drag-optimized gallery lines, without making line sorting unnecessarily complicated.

Result: Reduction of weight – with an even more robust construction.
The AONIC 2 is not only a safe, but also an exceptionally durable companion thanks to high-quality fabrics from Porcher, made in France.
