The launch ridge is inside a protected tropical forest, with amongst its most notable inhabitants, jaguars, howler monkeys, the Guayaquil parrot and beautiful royal vultures.

Typically, tasks have a first part on the ridge and then go out into the flats in front flying towards the ocean, (with the Galapagos Islands beyond), before moving behind, going north on the hills following the Rio Daule river, flying over mango, cherry, passion fruit and avocado groves. The topography gives lots of choices and some very interesting flying.
It’s not going to be easy, pilots will have lots of options in a territory where the best route isn’t obvious. Smart moves could make the difference!

What’s certain is that those who make the smartest moves will get the precious last few Super Final places. Keep up with all the action on the World Cup app from Sunday the 29th of October onwards.
